Eating Horse Gram
Horse Gram is consumed as a whole meal in India. Its botanical name is Macrotyloma Uniflorum and is mainly grown under dry-land agriculture. It is highly effective in treating the conditions of swelling, impotence, obesity, anemia, asthma, cold, diabetes and many other diseases. Further, horse gram decreases the blood glucose level and helps in eliminating Kidney Stones. It is also a key product helpful in treating infertility since it boosts the sperm production. According to Ayurveda principals, these are known as Kulatthika or Kulattha and their soup is used in diet at the end of panchkarma treatment. These beans are less popular, but are commonly consumed in South India in soups and curries.
